Requirements:

You must have a current serial number for your specific version of IMail v11. If you do not have your IMail v11 serial number, please login to myIpswitch.com to download IMail v11.01.

Summary:

DomainKeys and DKIM (Domainkeys Identified Mail)

DomainKeys is a domain-level e-mail authentication standard that uses public/private key encryption and DNS to prove the legitimacy and contents of an e-mail message. DKIM is very similar in functionality to DomainKeys, with an enhanced standard that provides more flexibility and security.

System Message for Web Client users

Capability for the Administrator to display a message for all Web Client users at the log in page. For more information see the Administrative Help under System > System WebMail Message.

iPhone mobile device Support

IMail Server now supports full push to the iPhone including email, contacts and calendar events

Exchange ActiveSync®

New user interface in your Web and Console Administrator to maintain your Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync® user licenses. For more details go to System > Exchange ActiveSync®

Admin Interface for Public Contact Folders

IMail Administrators now have capability to control and update both permissions and contents of the Public Contact folders within the Web Administration. For more details see the Administrative Help under Collaboration > Public Folders.

Rename a User Utility

"RenameUser.exe" - New Command Line utility for renaming a "username" has been created. This utility can be found under your /IMail directory. For more information see the Administrative Help under Command Line Utilities

IMail Antivirus powered by BitDefender

New improved user interface functionality within the IMail Server, along with new automated virus definition updates. Queue Manager has been enhanced to handle all the virus definition updates without requiring service restarts. The new user interface can be found on the IMail Administrator > Antivirus page.

  • Days left to license expiration
  • Date/Time of the last successful Antivirus update.
  • Option to enable/disable the automatic virus definition updates. With a default setting of 4 hours to check for virus definitions.
  • "Update Now" button should a manual virus definition update be required.
  • "AVUpdate.exe" is no longer required to update your virus definitions with IMail.
  • Now compatible with Microsoft Windows 2008 Server.

v11.01 contains fixes for over 40 defects found in v11.
