Network Computing Awards, March 14, 2008
IMail Server was awarded the Network Computing Awards 2008 Messaging Product of the Year. Hosted annually, the awards ceremony recognizes outstanding products and services in the network computing industry.
“I am thrilled to win this award,” says Tripp Allen, President of Ipswitch - Messaging Division. “It is an honor to lead a team that focuses on excellence in software development and superior customer support and satisfaction.” Winners are chosen by the readers of Network Computing magazine.
“We will continue to focus on customer satisfaction with high quality software, excellent support, and by adding the features that our customers have requested,” says Allen. IMail has added many of these new features, including the much requested low-bandwidth webmail client, in their new IMail Server Version 10.
Ipswitch IMail Server 2006.02 Takes on Microsoft Exchange
New Zealand Reseller News, April 21, 2007, Jan Birkeland
Taking on Microsoft Exchange is no easy task, but it is exactly what Ipswitch is doing with the New Zealand release of its Imail Server 2006.2.
“Many organisations, regardless of size, can’t afford the overhead and support issues that accompany a product like Microsoft Exchange,” claims Martin Higham, director of Digital Networks Australia. “That’s why our Imail family of products have been the leading alternative to Exchange for more than a decade, with more than 60 million people around the world relying on Ipswitch for their email everyday.”
The product is aimed at organisations that require a clear and rapid return on investment, and requires little or no IT administration. It comes in Standard, Plus and Premium editions. All Imail Server 2006.2 products are available with fully-integrated, anti-virus technology from Symantec and Bitdefender.
