IMail v11 Patch

Requirements:

You must be running IMail Server v11. If you are not running IMail v11, please login to myIpswitch.com to download IMail v11.

Summary of Fixes:

  • Contains fixes for Authentication issues with Ironport firewalls.
  • Fixes slow SMTP with Cram-MD5 connections
  • Fixes issues with foreign dates in message header
  • Allows relay for 127.0.0.1
  • Fixes a bug where Max Recipient Count on RSET was not being reset
  • Fixes an issue where the leading "." is not being stripped off in the SMTP session
  • Fixes CommTouch IP Reputation so it no longer ignores the white list
  • Fixes an issue where the 'Received From line is showing an IP instead of host name
  • Gives the ability to disable SSL v2. (Requires you add Add HKLM/Software/Ipswitch/ssl/DisableSSLV2 (DWORD)1) to the registry.
  • Fix for positive timezone offsets and offsets with 30 minutes.
  • Fixes an issue where SQL flags are being reset for users
  • Fixes FolderSync fail issues due to missing folders fields
  • Fixes outbound SSL slow response issues and BOD file issue
Note: If you are using BitDefender Anti-virus, do NOT add the SmtpDLL.dll file.

Note: If you are using a custom ODBC.dll file developed by a 3rd party vendor, do NOT add the odbcuser.dll file.

Installation:

Extract all files from the zip file "SMTPAPI.zip". Stop the SMTP and the Queue Manager Services. Copy the files to the root IMail folder. Restart the SMTP and Queue Manager services.
