This advisory is for customers currently running:
- IMail Server Secure 2006.1
- IMail Server Plus 2006.1
- Ipswitch Collaboration Suite Premium Edition 2006.1
Ipswitch recently experienced an issue with the service that delivers Premium Anti-Spam bullet signature updates. All affected customers should do the following once in order to continue to receive and implement Premium Anti-Spam bullet signature updates properly.
- Stop the Premium Anti-spam StarEngine service
- Delete the .dat file in the StarEngine /data directory
- Restart the Premium Anti-spam StarEngine service
Note: Follow these steps only if you have 2006.1 or the Retro-Kit installed. If you are not running 2006.1 and are experiencing problem
with messages incorrectly being identified as spam by Premium Anti-Spam please see the Knowledge Base article Premium Anti-Spam too many
false positives.
